Expert Series Agreement

This Expert Series Agreement ("Agreement") governs your purchase of a paid Expert Series article batch published on Peekwire. Peekscribe is a Peekwire brand and is the merchant of record for checkout.

By completing payment for an Expert Series batch, you agree to this Agreement, our Terms of Service, and our Privacy Policy. If this Agreement conflicts with the general Terms regarding your Expert Series purchase, this Agreement controls for that purchase.

This Agreement does not govern Peekscribe standalone featured placements. Those purchases are covered by the Featured Placement Agreement.

1. Parties and Definitions

"Peekscribe," "we," "us," and "Operator" refer to the party collecting payment and providing the Expert Series service. "Peekwire" refers to the editorial publication where Expert Series articles are published. "You" and "Series Customer" refer to the individual or business purchasing an Expert Series batch.

"Expert Series batch" means a set of Peekwire articles based on your answers to a fixed set of questions, published on an approximate weekly cadence for that batch. It is not a standalone website, domain, profile page, or reader contact flow product.

2. What the Expert Series Is

An Expert Series batch gives you paid publication of the remaining articles in that batch on Peekwire after any complimentary first article described in your invitation. Each article is written from one of your answers, may quote you as an expert, and may link to your website.

The Expert Series is not a partnership, co-ownership, co-publishing arrangement, joint venture, sponsorship, advertising buy, or equity relationship. Peekwire remains an independent editorial publication.

3. Complimentary First Article and Paid Batch

Your invitation may include one complimentary first article so you can see the format. That complimentary article is not sold at checkout. Payment under this Agreement is only for the paid Expert Series batch described at checkout (for example, four additional articles).

4. Term and Delivery

Delivery for a paid batch is the publication of the articles included in that batch on an approximate weekly schedule, unless a different schedule is stated in your invitation or at checkout. Timing is approximate and may vary.

5. Payment and No Refunds

You pay the one-time batch fee shown at checkout. Payment is processed by Dodo Payments, our third-party payment processor. Peekscribe does not store full payment card numbers on Peekscribe systems. Your card statement may show Peekscribe as the merchant.

All Expert Series batch fees are non-refundable. There is no early cancellation after payment is completed.

6. Additional Batches

After a batch is completed, we may offer another paid batch at the price stated in that offer. Each additional batch is a separate purchase under this Agreement.

7. Content Ownership and License

You retain ownership of materials you provide, including interview answers and factual corrections. Editorial articles and production work created for Peekwire remain with us.

You grant us a license to use your provided materials to write and publish the Expert Series articles on Peekwire, including your name, likeness, quotes, and business information as needed for those articles.

8. Answers and Approval

You provide answers in writing (typically by email). By submitting answers for the series, you authorize us to use them for the corresponding Expert Series articles. If you need a correction before an article goes live, notify us in writing as soon as possible.

We will not invent interview quotes. We may edit for clarity, grammar, length, and publication style while preserving meaning.

9. What This Product Does Not Include

The Expert Series does not include a Peekscribe standalone site, dedicated domain, featured profile page, reader contact flow, hosting, or go-live of a separate publication.

10. No Outcome Guarantees

We do not guarantee traffic, search rankings, leads, revenue, or other commercial outcomes from Expert Series articles.

11. Your Representations

You represent that you have authority to enter this Agreement, that information and materials you provide are accurate to the best of your knowledge, and that your use of the Service complies with applicable law.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service and published articles are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities. Our aggregate liability for claims arising out of or relating to this Agreement will not exceed the Expert Series fees you paid to Peekscribe for the batch giving rise to the claim.

14. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Peekscribe from claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your materials, your business practices, or your violation of this Agreement, our Terms, or applicable law.

15. Changes to This Agreement

We may update this Agreement from time to time. The updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised "Last updated" date. Material changes apply to new purchases after posting unless otherwise required by law.

16. Governing Law

Unless applicable law requires otherwise, this Agreement is governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Peekscribe is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
