Sponsored Placement Agreement

This Sponsored Placement Agreement ("Agreement") governs your purchase of a paid insertion on an existing Peekwire article. Peekscribe is a Peekwire brand and is the merchant of record for checkout.

By completing payment for a sponsored placement, you agree to this Agreement, our Terms of Service, and our Privacy Policy. If this Agreement conflicts with the general Terms regarding your sponsored placement purchase, this Agreement controls for that purchase.

This Agreement does not govern Peekscribe standalone featured placements or Peekwire Expert Series batches. Those purchases are covered by the Featured Placement Agreement and the Expert Series Agreement.

1. Parties and Definitions

"Peekscribe," "we," "us," and "Operator" refer to the party collecting payment and providing the sponsored placement. "Peekwire" refers to the editorial publication where the article appears. "You" and "Placement Customer" refer to the individual or business purchasing the insertion.

A sponsored placement is an edited mention and link on a named Peekwire article. The article, destination URL, anchor text, and price for your purchase are those shown in the preview we send you and at checkout.

2. What You Are Buying

You are buying editorial editing of your copy so it fits the article, plus placement of that copy (including the agreed destination URL and anchor text) on that article. We control the wording. The preview shows the proposed insertion before you pay.

A sponsored placement is not a partnership, co-ownership, co-publishing arrangement, guest post, link swap, or a standalone Peekscribe site.

3. Preview and Payment

We show you a preview of the updated article before checkout. Completing payment is acceptance of this Agreement and of the insertion shown in that preview, at the price shown at checkout.

Payment is processed by Dodo Payments. Peekscribe does not store full payment card numbers on Peekscribe systems. Your card statement may show Peekscribe as the merchant.

All sponsored placement fees are non-refundable. There is no early cancellation after payment is completed. We publish the insertion after payment succeeds.

4. Editorial Control

We may edit your copy for clarity, grammar, length, and publication style. We may refuse or remove an insertion that is inaccurate, misleading, or unfit for the article.

5. No Outcome Guarantees

We do not guarantee traffic, search rankings, indexing, leads, revenue, or other commercial outcomes from a sponsored placement.

6. Your Representations

You represent that you have authority to enter this Agreement, that you have the right to promote the destination URL, and that the materials you provide are accurate to the best of your knowledge.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service and published articles are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities. Our aggregate liability for claims arising out of or relating to this Agreement will not exceed the sponsored placement fees you paid to Peekscribe for the purchase giving rise to the claim.

9. Changes to This Agreement

We may update this Agreement from time to time. The updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised "Last updated" date. Material changes apply to new purchases after posting unless otherwise required by law.
